WHO ARE WE?
Established in 1928, Troop 1 has been an integral part of the Seekonk community for over 90 years.
Troop 9 is our new all-girl troop, established in March 2019.
We are members of the Southeast Service Area of the Narragansett Council. We are chartered by the American Legion Post 311 of Seekonk.
Troop 1 is for boys, and Troop 9 is for girls. Both troops are for ages 11-17.
Both troops currently meet at Hurley Middle School, Seekonk on Tuesdays from 7-8:15 pm.
(see map to the right)
In addition to weekly meetings, we participate in monthly outdoor adventures and volunteer opportunities (see calendar for upcoming events).
New members are always welcome to join us!
WHY JOIN?
Scouting gives many exciting opportunities and important lessons that will stick with someone throughout their life. Ethics, leadership, and citizenship are all important tenets of Scouting and good traits of an active American citizen. Also, BSA troops create a sense of camaraderie around the Scouts, especially through troop campouts and our weekly meetings.
